Everything in Udaipur is close to each other and taking a car is a bad option because the area is very congested and car cannot go everywhere so it is better to explore the city by walking into the streets. There are many Palaces inside this fort and it is located near Lake Pichola that makes this historical fort magnificent. Then you can visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of maids of Honors), it was constructed by Rana Sangram Singh he gifted this courtyard to his queen near Fateh Sagar Lake. At the time of their marriage 48 maids were also come with his queen. He wanted his queen to enjoy some pleasurable moments. So he decided to give built a courtyard it was a relaxing spot for his queen and her maids. The courtyard is very beautifully designed from inside with fountains, lotus pool and marble elephants. And you can visit Pratap Memorial, Bhartiya Lok kala Mandir, White marble Jagdish Temple and Vintage car museum. And in evening you can take boat ride in Lake Pichola. The city looks very striking amazing and calm in the evening.
